Some comments and feedback from our recent clients after visiting our restaurant
Subject: Simply Delicious!
by: J. Pilkinton, Mt Roskill
FInally, Auckland can enjoy delicious, reasonably priced authentic Chinese dupling and noodle! The Dumplings are truly delightful, and the vegetable dishes are made from organic ingredients. I was impressed that when I ordered the Gai lang with garlic, apologies were made for it's unavailability due to not being able to buy the organic version that morning. Fine by me! There is a small but decent selection of wine by the glass and bottle, priced to quaff. The service is efficient, and if you show a little interest in the cuisine, very friendly! We found the restaurant via their blog, belive it or not! It is located at http://royaldumpling.blogspot.co.nz

Have been here twice now. Very simple style of restaruant and freindly service...But the dumplings are to die for! Dumplings plus at chadstone was my all time favourite, but these give them a run for their money. The Nasi Gorng is very tasty also....I must ventrue onto other menu items, but i just have to order the dumplings. i order one entree serve of steamed, and also a serve of the pan fired. Delicious!!!!! Cant wait to go again...Hmmm maybe next week.... We even let our mates know about this great restaurant on Facebook! We will be adding Robert and Donna via http://www.facebook.com/donna.duan.71
Subject: Fantastic Chinese restaurant at Royal Oak, Auckland

Been to this restaurant twice and loved it both times. This is our new favourite Chinese restaurant in Auckland. After living in China for 4.5 years I can honestly say that the dumplings are very authentic. The Xiao Long Bao are also okay but are missing something that differentiates them from the ones back in China. Having said that, there is no standard Xiao Long Bao, they all seem to taste different in China so I guess this restaurant is just following the mainland's lead. I guess they could also be a little bit juicier. This is just nitpicking though.
I haven't had a lot on the menu but I can recommend the noodles and also the steamboat and the pork dumplings. I will definitely be going back again next week to try something else. Prices are reasonable, the hosts are really great and friendly.
Overall I would give my first 2 experiences at this restaurant an 9/10. Hopefully the 3rd visit next week will be just as good. Keep up the good job, Royal Dumpling and Noodle!
Subject: Mothers Day Dinner at Royal Oak
by Jennifer, North Shore
We visited for my boyfriend's birthday which fell on Mothers Day which is possibly the worst day to try any restaurant for the first time- but we were still happy with Roayl Dumpling and Noodle at Royal Oak, Auckland.
We ordered chicken and prawn, beef, chicken, and pork dumplings and they were all tasty! We had them all grilled except for the chicken. Lots of meat filling, tender and well cooked dumpling skin, good choice of dipping sauces.
We also had the salt and pepper calamari which was lightly battered and so so tender.
The service was as we expected on Mothers Day with a full to bursting restaurant and a dangerous water spill on the floor.
Very good value, quick and easy. We will book a VIP room for our next visit as to have an ejoyable dinner with the family. We highly recommend Royal Dumpling and Noodle.
Best dumplings in Auckland area

We found this restaurant a little while ago and have been back almost every week, our mate gave me the link http://www.facebook.com/donna.duan.71 to hook up with Robert and Donna (the hosts of Royal Dumpling and Noodle). Their dumplings are the best I've had in a long time - especially the lamb and pork ones. All the dishes are fresh, tasty and great value! Hands down and will highly recommend Royal Dumpling and Noodle to all family and friends at any give time!
